Description:
This collection of photographs was created for the second part of my final project for my Media Design course. We were told to choose a place that we frequent and capture it from our point of view. I decided to take a leisurely walk through my neighborhood and find things that I don’t notice on a normal day when I’m flying to and from home, work or school. It was so rewarding to get a chance to connect with my neighborhood and neighbors in a way that I hadn’t before. I also discovered a love for the practice of photography and look forward to adding it to the mediums I work with to tell compelling stories about my community.
